ALL ROADS LEAD TO CHROME: In an interview with Business Insider, Google VP of Product Management, Cesar Sengupta, shared that Chromebooks have found their way into over 5,000 K-12 schools, or about 22% of the U.S. school districts. The previous reported tally was 2,000 schools back in February. A recent report from the NPD Group on U.S. computer sales during the "back-to-school" period (June-Sept.) suggests Chromebooks are slowly but steadily establishing a market foothold.
