LEARN LAUNCHED: Beantown's very own edtech accelerator program, LearnLaunchX, announced its first cohort of eight startups offering lessons and activities built around public radio stories, tools for Common Core planning, and even an after-school and summer program for STEAM subjects. Each of these elite eight will receive $18,000 in seed funding, along with three months of mentorship, facilities, and other strategic support. The total value of these services (for all eight companies) according to LearnLaunch, adds up to $350,000.
