BETA SOO META (as in "it's soo meta!") may actually have students meta-cognating as they ponder which mediums will help get their point across most effectively during their next presentation. The mashup tool allows users to take any number of images, videos, and texts from their desktop or the interwebs and arrange them into slideshow-like "chapters" for a given topic. There's also an option to drag-and-drop media from in-app keyword searches on YouTube, Yahoo, Twitter, and SoundCloud. We first caught wind of Soo Meta checking out this info-packed pitch on the flipped classroom. The app comes from the same folks who created the hip "video mixtape" service, DragonTape.
