GREATSCHOOLS: $7.5 million from the Walton Family Foundation to non-profit, GreatSchools, which operates a website that offers reviews of over 200,000 PreK-12 schools around the U.S. The foundation has already pumped a whopping $13 million into the site since 2004. Education Week reports that only 19% of the schools have 10 or more reviews, a number that this new wave of funding is intended to address.
