BrightBytes Raises $750K Seed Round

Feb 21, 2013

BRIGHTBYTES: $750k to SF-based learning analytics company, BrightBytes, in a seed round led by Learn Capital. NewSchools Venture Fund and a "strategic investor" also participated in the round. BrightBytes' platform, called "Clarity for Schools," offers a data-driven granular look at the relationship between a school's use of technology and student achievement. Co-founder Rob Mancabelli tells TechCrunch that 2,000 schools in 20 states are already using the platform and that he expects to sign up 5,000 schools by the end of the summer.
