Feb 13, 2013

MOVING ON: Wendy Kopp is stepping down from her position as chief executive of Teach For America, after founding and leading the organization for more than 20 years. As of March 1, two people are stepping up as co-CEOs: TFA's President, Matt Kramer and Chief Operating Officer, Elisa Villanueva Beard. Dick Parsons of TimeWarner, will serve in the newly-created role of lead independent director.

Kopp will continue to serve as chairman of TFA and CEO of Teach for All, an international network of groups focused on expanding education opportunities internationally. Here they all say "Cheers!"
