White House Launches 'Tech Inclusion' Initiatives

FORGET ME NOT: The White House Tech Inclusion Summit on Jan. 31 announced five initiatives to better engage kids in STEM tech education. These include calling upon tech companies to commit 20 percent of their workforce to mentor at least 20 hours per year (so far nine CEOs have committed), providing better training for computer science teachers, and connecting STEM-focused organizations and after-school programs with parents and children in underserved communities.
