ActiveGrade Acquired by Haiku Learning

Feb 10, 2013

ACTIVEGRADE: Acquired by Goshen, IN-based Haiku Learning, developer of a cloud-based learning management system designed for use in K-12 institutions. Terms of the deal were not announced. ActiveGrade, founded by a husband-and-wife in Iowa City in 2010, offered a web-based gradebook for standards-based grading that has been used in "thousands of classrooms." The team of three will "be joining the Haiku team virtually, keeping [its] Iowa City office open and fully operational."
