NO TIME FOR CLASS: Peter Thiel sees hope in the future, and its not in higher education. So he started the "20 Under 20 Thiel Fellowship" earlier in May, awarding 24 kids (all under 20) $100k to drop out and turn ideas into reality. Apparently, its been so promising that his foundation is accepting applications for a second class in 2012. (TechCrunch has an update on how the first class is faring.) Go tell your kids--but there'll be no time for holiday shopping and snoozing: applications are due December 31st.
