How Much Will Parents Spend on Education Technology This Summer?

SUMMER SHOPPING: Parents of K-12 students will spend on average of $873 on their children this year, according to a Rubicon Project survey of 1,000 parents in June 2015. Seventy-two percent of them say they will spend more this year on both technology (roughly $390) and mobile devices such as cell phones ($242) than the last. Many of them will also be shopping for new mobile phone plans. College students' parents, meanwhile plan on spending roughly $1,124.
