DECISION SCIENCE LABS: $1 million to DC-based Decision Science Labs in a seed round from four undisclosed “unorthodox” funders. Decision Science Labs, founded in June 2014 by Victor Reinoso, DC’s first Deputy Mayor of Education, and incubated at investor NewSchools Venture Fund, provides an analytics platform to evaluate how effectively different public school systems allocate resources.
