China's ChaseFuture Raises $400K

CHASEFUTURE: Shanghai-based startup that proposes to offer admissions consulting to applicants to Western colleges and grad schools raised $400K seed round led by Banyan Partners and Harbor Pacific Capital, with participation from Artesian Capital Management, William Bao Bean (of SingTel Innov8), Ron Cao (Lightspeed), Joshua Motta (CloudFlare) and AngelVest consortium of Shanghai. The company was founded in 2012 by Greg Nance. Premium services cost between $300 and $5,000 annually. It intends to expand outside China to India, Egypt, and Turkey. More from TechCrunch.
