TED-Ed Announces Launch of "TED-Ed Clubs"

Jan 14, 2014

JOIN THE CLUB: Today, TED-Ed announced the launch of TED-Ed Clubs, a school-centric program designed to support students in meeting regularly to discuss and develop TED-like Talks. After piloting the program with 100 schools in 2013, TED-Ed will now allow groups of students (age 8 through 18) across the globe to start and grow their own clubs, with a max of 50 students per club. Teachers then have the option of nominating individual students to potentially be featured at TEDxYouth events and the annual TEDYouth conference. This program falls in line with the missions of independent TEDx school club movements, such as the Gunn High School TEDx program that EdSurge reviewed back in September.
