SNAP, CRACKLE AND POP: Kno got sold (for apparently pennies on the dime). Altius Education, following its troubles with the Department of Justice, was acquired by Datamark in October. And Grockit reportedly "abandoned its founding purpose altogether" when it sold its test prep assets to Kaplan in July. These moves have Christopher Nyren, an investor at Educated Ventures and former VP at Apollo Group, proclaiming "the first crack of the current 2011-2013 Edtech Hype Bubble."
