Leadership Public Schools is a nonprofit organization that operates public charter high school throughout northern California, with locations in Richmond, Oakland, Hayward, and San Jose. Its mission is targeted helping traditionally underserved students to succeed in college and developing replicable practices that can help improve urban education across the nation. It focuses R&D efforts to create a blended learning model that takes advantage of the latest edtech innovations.
Through a unique partnership with a technology team, teachers and students at Leadership Public Schools contributed to the design, testing and implementation of ExitTicket.
Dr. Louise Waters is Superitendent and CEO of Leadership Public Schools. She also co-led the development of ExitTicket with Dr. Scot Refsland, who is Innovation Fellow in Residence, Leadership Public Schools.
