Our rapidly growing edtech company, www.InnerOrbit.com, features the highest quality NGSS-aligned phenomena, assessments, and 3D reports on the market. We are seeking a full-time NGSS Content Manager to join our Educational Content Team.
Qualified candidates will have:
- A deep, conceptual understanding and passion for the NGSS and 3-Dimensional pedagogy and assessment.
- Strong project and people management skills, including version control and documentation management.
- Concrete experience using DCIs, CCCs, SEPs, and Evidence Statements to write high-quality assessments and sensemaking tasks.
- For this position, extensive experience in middle and high school earth and physical sciences is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of and appreciation for the gravity of assessment systems, including the historical impact of standardized assessment on equitable outcomes for marginalized communities.
- A growth mindset that drives curiosity, lifelong learning, and growth in others through actionable feedback and facilitative management.
- A customer-first, quality-focused mindset with empathy and understanding for teachers and students, and a belief that all students can learn and grow.
- An unwavering commitment to help all students engage with evidence-based explanations of the natural world through scientific literacy and sensemaking practice.
