Recruitment & Enrollment:
- Organize and coordinate recruitment events to attract incoming families.
- Oversee the enrollment and lottery processes, ensuring smooth and accurate data management through PowerSchool.
- Manage re-enrollment for current students, ensuring accurate records and communication with staff.
Event Planning:
- Plan and execute events for new families to help build a strong, connected school community.
- Coordinate fundraising initiatives to support school programs and initiatives.
- Plan and facilitate parent volunteer opportunities, including using online tools for sign-ups, organizing volunteer celebrations, and maintaining consistent communication.
Attendance Monitoring:
- Develop and implement strategies to promote consistent student attendance and punctuality.
- Monitor attendance data and manage reporting.
- Conduct truancy meetings with families to address attendance concerns and support the development of improvement plans.
Family Engagement:
- Act as a primary point of contact for families, providing timely, clear, and culturally responsive communication in home languages. Coordinate primary language support and translation/interpretation services.
- Support families in navigating school systems and connecting with relevant services or resources.
- Foster a positive partnership between families and the school by encouraging family participation in their child’s education through events, meetings, and social gatherings.
- Coordinate family engagement initiatives such as parent meetings, social events, and one-on-one support services.
Collaboration & Support:
- Work closely with school staff to monitor the academic and behavioral progress of students, especially those needing additional support
- Track and evaluate family involvement, identifying trends and making recommendations for program improvements.
- Collaborate with school staff, administrators, and other professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to family and student support.
Data Collection & Reporting:
Collect and analyze data related to family involvement and student attendance, reporting findings to school leadership and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
