Job Title: Account Executive (6–12 Edtech, Entry-Level)

Compensation: $35K – $50K base + commission

QuestionWell’s AI tools let teachers quickly craft and modify engaging lesson materials aligned to their class. We’re growing quickly and organically with tens of thousands of free and paid active users and are now focused on expanding our Team and District accounts.

We’re looking for an Account Executive who has firsthand knowledge of the needs of high school teachers and/or admin, is energized by sales, and is excited to grow in an early-stage edtech company. This is an entry-level, learn-as-you-go role with real responsibility and a fast learning curve — perfect for a high school teacher transitioning into tech or a junior sales representative with educational roots.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

New Business & Expansion

• Convert free or individual users into Team and District customers
• Prospect and qualify warm leads from our user base (teachers, coaches, admins)
• Conduct 1:1 demos, highlight ROI, and close team-level deals
• Manage a growing book of school-based accounts and track all activity in CRM (HubSpot)

Customer Success & Retention

• Work with our Support team to support existing customers: guide onboarding, usage, and engagement.
• Share tips, updates, and AI best practices to help customers maximize value.
• Proactively check in with accounts to ensure renewal and upsell opportunities.

This is a high-needs position, so we will be moving quickly in the hiring process. Details about the process are provided below.

1. Application Window | 5 - 15 minutes | Aug 14 - Sep 2
2. Intro Call | 15 minutes | Aug 14 - Sep 5
3. Interview Call | 30min - 1hr | Sep 5-10
4. Host a mock sales call with the QuestionWell team. Your goal: sell us the Team plan.
5. We will then have a short Q&A
6. Decisions and Hiring | Sep 10-13

💸 Compensation

• You will receive a base salary of $35,000-50,000 USD with 10-30% additional commission once sales targets are met.
