Registration is now open for the 2025 Connected Learning Summit, happening October 5–10 both online and in person. Join our gathering of innovators harnessing emerging technology to expand access to participatory, playful, and creative learning.
CLS was first convened in 2018 with the mission to fuel a growing movement of innovators harnessing the power of emerging technology to expand access to participatory, playful, and creative learning. With a unique focus on cross-sector connections and progressive and catalytic innovation, the event brings together leading researchers, educators, and developers. The hosting and stewardship of the event has continued to evolve in tandem with the changing conditions of the global pandemic. UC Irvine’s Connected Learning Lab and MIT’s Scheller Teacher Education Program and Education Arcade were the founding hosts of the event. As we have moved online and become a more international event, we are expanding our roster of partners and hosts.
Our 2025 hybrid program will feature a virtual pre-conference day featuring affinity group meetups and our Rising Scholars of CLS event; in-person gatherings and poster sessions hosted around the world by community members and local sponsors; engaging and interactive online workshop and roundtable sessions; inspiring keynote talks from Meryl Alper, Danaé Metaxa, and Vanessa Angélica Villarreal; and plenary panels featuring Emily Weinstein, Cynthia Breazeal, Sepehr Vakil, Jose Lizzaraga, and Antero Garcia.
Register today to take part in CLSummit2025 - our most vibrant, collaborative experience yet!
