Immersion: Our Hands-on, Info-Packed Event Just for Edtech Companies

On April 7, EdSurge will host a one-day clinic on building your edtech business called EdSurge Immersion. This is the most hands-on, info-packed session we’ve created for edtech entrepreneurs—and we hope you’ll consider joining us.

It will take place in San Diego, one day before ASU GSV X Summit—the tenth annual investor conference. It will be a terrific way for you to kick off the week. Not yet planning to attend that conference? If you decide to go, EdSurge Immersion attendees will receive 50 percent off the regular attendee ticket price to the ASU GSV X extravaganza.

Here’s the plan:

MORNING: We’ll get an in-depth look at running an edtech company from startup through growth from the cofounder of Remind, Brett Kopf, and the company’s CEO, Brian Grey. (Grey’s done it before, too: He previously ran Bleacher Report.) We’ll also have short spotlight talks about some of the tools and services you need to be effective.

LUNCH: Learn who the real decision makers are in schools and districts (you may be surprised!). Our panel of school leaders will share whose opinions matter, what they’re looking for in edtech products, how they’re managing procurement and what entrepreneurs should never ever say.

AFTERNOON: This is all hands-on: an intimate set of clinics with people who have been there. Bring your pitch deck, your hiring plans or other roadmaps and get advice from edtech leaders. This is the moment when you will be elbow-to-elbow with peers and industry leaders to work through whatever challenges you face.

Immersion will be limited to about 150 entrepreneurs—our way of guaranteeing that you’ll have a truly personal and valuable experience.

Ready to sign up? You can snag a $70 discount until March 1.
