Steven Rasmussen

Steven Rasmussen is an educational consultant at SR Education Associates. He was co-founder, publisher and president at Key Curriculum Press, a mathematics curriculum publishing. Key products included basal textbooks like Discovering Geometry, manipulatives, software and supplementary materials. As president of KCP Technologies, an educational software research and development company, he led teams that specialized in the development of dynamic digital tools for mathematics classrooms, including The Geometer’s Sketchpad, Fathom and TinkerPlots. He has degrees in mathematics and mathematics education and was a public school math teacher in Philadelphia, PA, and Emeryville, CA, before devoting himself full time to publishing and technology development.
