Sandra Faioes is the Deputy Superintendent of Norwalk Public Schools in Norwalk, Connecticut. She was appointed to the position in December 2023, previously serving as the Assistant Superintendent of Business and Operations. Faioes joined Norwalk Public Schools in 2013, working at the Richard C. Briggs High School for two years during which time she served as a curriculum and instruction site director, instructional coach and reading specialist. Her responsibilities included monitoring curriculum implementation and pacing, developing and leading a formal coaching cycle for new and developing teachers, and building capacity around the effective use of data to drive results. She was also director of the school’s summer credit recovery program.
