Dr. Robert F. Hill has been the proud superintendent of the Springfield City School District since 2015. Hill has served as a coach, teacher, assistant high school principal, high school principal, superintendent and adjunct professor.
Beyond his district leadership, Hill holds several key community positions, including president of the Clark County Family Children First Council and board member for the Clark State College Foundation and the Global Impact STEM Academy. He also contributes his expertise to the Department of Job and Family Services Family Planning Council and the League of Innovative Schools Advisory Committee.
Hill earned his Bachelor’s degree from Denison University, followed by a Master of Education and a Doctor of Education in leadership from Ashland University. Before joining the Springfield community, he served as Superintendent of Firelands Local Schools near Cleveland.
