Brief Biography

Rob Urstein is a Lecturer in Management at the Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB), where he teaches courses on innovation in higher education, and is a Senior Strategist with Entangled Solutions. Rob has more than 25 years of education operating experience—more than twelve of them in senior leadership roles at Stanford—including three years as Associate Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education. At the GSB, Rob served for eight years as Assistant Dean, and for two years as Managing Director of Global Innovation Programs, where he had responsibility for a portfolio of international and on campus entrepreneurship and leadership programs. He was a Fulbright Senior Scholar in Oslo, Norway, for the Royal Norwegian Ministry of Education in 2000-01. Rob earned his undergraduate degree from Claremont McKenna College and his MA and PhD from the University of Iowa.
