Nick Hutchinson is the Executive Director of US2020, an initiative launched at the White House Science Fair to dramatically scale the number of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) professionals mentoring and teaching students through hands-on projects, with a focus on serving underrepresented communities. US2020’s goal is to create millions of moments of discovery—life-changing opportunities for students to launch rockets, build robots, write computer programs, and explore the farthest reaches of the universe. US2020 is a division of Citizen Schools and is supported by Chevron, Cisco Systems, Cognizant, Discovery Communications, Raytheon, SanDisk, Tata Consultancy Services, and Texas Instruments.
