Monika Vereb (she/her) is a K–12 educational leader with over fifteen years of experience advancing instructional improvement, equity, and school turnaround across large public school systems. Vereb currently serves as principal of Herndon Elementary School, where she leads comprehensive improvement efforts following the school’s CSI designation, with a focus on instructional coherence, MTSS and sustainable systems.
Previously, Vereb led Herndon Middle School out of TSI status, achieving measurable academic gains and a stronger school culture. Vereb holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the College of William & Mary, is a 2022 ASCD Emerging Leader and a two-time finalist for FCPS Outstanding New Principal.
