Matt Johnson is an assistant professor of education at the Center for Science and the Schools at Penn State, where he and his colleagues collaborated with scientists in virology, epidemiology and public health to develop “The Science of COVID-19,” a free, online course intended for middle and high school students, their teachers, and anyone interested in learning about COVID-19.
