Hema Khatri is an early childhood educator in Michigan and a TEACH scholarship recipient. Her work centers on social-emotional learning, family partnerships, and nature-based, child-led approaches. She also leads community initiatives, including take-home literacy kits and school-based dental outreach, to support children’s well-being beyond the classroom. She strives to create spaces where young children feel safe, seen, and deeply connected to learning.
