Dave Stieber is in his 16th year teaching high school social studies and poetry for Chicago Public Schools. He is a National Board Certified Teacher with a master' degree in Urban Ed. Policy. His partner is also a Chicago Public Schools teacher and their two children attend Chicago Public Schools. Stieber writes often about issues related to public education, equity and justice.
