Dr. Audra Pittman has served as superintendent of the Calistoga Joint Unified School District since 2022, bringing over 25 years of educational experience to the role. Prior to her arrival in Calistoga, she dedicated nine years as superintendent of the Bayshore Elementary School District and oversaw administrator and teacher support services for the San Mateo County Office of Education.
Pittman’s leadership experience also extends to Los Angeles County, where she held principalship at La Cañada Unified and served in assistant principal roles for both the Long Beach Unified and Whittier Union High School Districts.
She launched her career in the classroom as a high school math teacher and curriculum coach for Long Beach Unified. Pittman earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Evansville, a Master of Arts from California State University, Dominguez Hills, and a Doctor of Philosophy from Claremont Graduate University.
