The Wylie Independent School district, located about 24 northeast of Dallas, serves more than 12,000 students. It includes 19 campuses including two high schools, one alternative high school, three junior high schools (grades 7, 8), three intermediate schools (grade 5, 6) and 10 elementary schools (grades pre-K through 4).
