UBOOLY: $1.5 million to Boulder, CO-based Ubooly in seed round from a host of investors including 500 Startups, SoftTech, David Cohen, and others, according to TechCrunch. This announcement comes on the heels of a successful Kickstarter campaign earlier in April and participation in the 2012 Techstars accelerator program. The startup offers children a plushy skin that turns iPhones into a "cuddly critter" and comes with an iOS app that includes games and educational "learning packs."
