Google and Khan Academy team up for Next EDU Gurus

Sep 18, 2012

GURU SEARCH: Without Google's YouTube, who knows where Salman Khan might be today. Now, the two are joining forces to search for the next crop of online educators who shine in front of the camera. The program, YouTube Next EDU Guru, is looking for ten such rockstars, to be chosen by a Google/Khan Academy panel. Those fortunate 10 will be flown out to the SF Bay Area for a three-day PD workshop at YouTube's HQ from October 17 through 19. They will also receive a $1,000 gift card for production and equipment. Applications are open and will close October 1. See the rules and guidelines here.
