Centering on Transforming Learning, the sold-out conference appealed to locals and out-of-towners. As one participant commented, "this is the most educated group on education!" With student-provided musical entertainment and a Dine-Around opportunity with the presenters, Stanford d.school's Scott Witthoft summed up the general consensus that TEDx Manhattan Beach was an "inspired opportunity to learn" that "felt grand in scale and local in flavor."
