Plato Learning seems to have shrugged off its soured relationship with Renaissance Learning and sealed a deal with another family-owned business, Educational Options Inc., (EdOptions) in Falls Church, Va. Plato has the financial might of private equity powerhouse, Thoma Bravo behind it. Money quote: "Thoma Bravo will continue to support [Plato's] growth organically and through additional strategic acquisitions."
