Freemium ISSUU allows anyone to publish, share, or browse original web content in a slick carousel format that mimics flipping pages of a magazine. There’s a bit of a learning curve -- file formats are limited to PDF, DOC, PPT, RTF, WPD, or ODT and there isn’t much to help with online editing so most formatting is expected to happen offline. Older students who are serious about promoting their own voice, opinions, ideas, and work through a custom publication will find ISSUU most valuable. Younger students may have great work to share as well but teachers should be aware that they may have to work to navigate the kids around the site's mature content.
