BABY DRIVER: Ornikar, a Paris-based online driving school, has raised 35 million euros (about USD $39.52 million) in a Series B round from existing investors Idinvest Partners and Brighteye Ventures, and newcomer Bpifrance.

Founded in 2013, the company plans to use the money toward expansion in European countries outside its strongholds in France, Germany and Spain, according to a prepared statement. Past Brighteye investments in education technology companies include Aula, Epic and Ironhack. Bpifrance has previously invested in 360Learning, My Serious Game, Educapital and OpenClassrooms.
