MIND OVER MATTER: Little Thinking Minds, an Amman, Jordan-based Arabic learning platform for children, has raised $1.765 million in a Series A round. The Innovation Startups and SMEs Fund, Algebra Ventures, Mindshift Capital and Al Turki Group participated.
Founded in 2004, Little Thinking Minds claims that over 200 schools and 100,000 students across the Middle East and North Africa use its services, according to a statement Monday. The company provides Arabic language literacy apps, web portals and videos for children as young as pre-K.
