TOWER OF TERRA: Terra Dotta, a Chapel Hill, N.C.-based provider of higher education travel risk management and international programs services, has raised $3.4 million in growth capital from private equity firm LNC Partners.
Founded in 2001, Terra Dotta plans to use the money toward expanding into new markets, pursuing acquisitions and hiring, according to a statement Thursday. The company claims to serve over 575 educational institutions and businesses.
Terra Dotta previously raised $6 million in a 2016 round.
