BE A PAL: ExamPAL, which offers tools for GMAT and GRE test preparation, has closed a $2.2 million round. Participants in the round include EduLab Capital Partners and HighGrade Ventures.

ExamPAL, based in Tel Aviv, will use the money to add more exams onto its platform. The company, founded in 2014, claims to serve about 100,000 students from 156 countries, according to a statement Tuesday.

EduLab’s past investments include eCare Vault this past February, Authess in 2017, CodeMonkey in 2017, Listenwise (formerly Listen Current) in 2016 and Academic Merit in 2015. The fund, an offshoot of the parent company for Japanese research and testing group JIEM, raised $40 million last year. Previous HighGrade investments include Storyball.
