Digital Reading Platform, SiMBi Raises $460K in Seed Funding

READ THIS: SiMBi, a Vancouver, Canada-based developer of a digital reading and assessment program, has raised $460,000 in a seed round from Kilauea Ventures, Helder Ventures, and Katapult Accelerator.

Launched in 2017, the SiMBi platform is currently used by more than 10,000 students in 43 schools across the world. The team claims that through forthcoming school pilots in the U.S. and Southeast Asia, along with a partnership with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Uganda, its tool will reach more than 90,000 students over the next three years.
