ACED ANOTHER TEST: Aceable, a digital education platform where students can earn training and certification in areas such as real estate and defensive driving, has raised $47 million in a Series B round led by Sageview Capital.

The investment will help the Austin-based company expand its national reach, hire more employees and move into new verticals, according to a press release. Two investors at Sageview Capital will also be joining the Aceable’s board of directors.

Founded in 2012, Aceable got its start offering driver’s ed courses. Today, it claims to serve more than 550,000 students per year and employs more than 100 people.
