In First Round of Funding, Techtonic Group Raises $2 Million

CODE MASTERS: Techtonic Group, a company that offers software development services and an apprenticeship program, has announced $2 million in its first round of funding, according to a press release.

The Series A round was led by University Ventures and Zoma Capital. A spokesperson for the Boulder, CO-based company tells EdSurge this is the first time the company has ever gotten venture capital funding in its 12- year history. She adds that the company will use the new money to expand the apprenticeship program, as well as their software development services.
