Canadian Startup Raises Multi-million Round With K-12 Digital Permission Slips

Mar 27, 2018

PERMISSION CLICK, a Winnipeg, Canada-based developer of digital forms designed for K-12 schools and districts, has raised an undisclosed, “multimillion-dollar capital raise led by an international strategic investor,” according to a company announcement. With the cash, the company plans to add to its headcount of 15 staff by making more than a dozen hires for sales, marketing and product development roles.

Founded in 2013, Permission Click offers educators the ability to send and receive permission slips, forms and payment collections to and from parents. The company claims its services are used “by thousands of schools in more than 30 countries and 108 languages.” The company recently launched a district version of its tools, and has notched over $1 million in sales in under six months, according to the Winnipeg Free Press.
