YOU CUBE: Circuit Cubes, a STEAM kit company, announced it has raised an additional $2 million, leading to a total $4.1 million for the Sausalito, Calif.-based startup. Investors have not yet been disclosed for the seed round.
News about the company’s recent raise was accompanied by an announcement that major retailers including Target, Barnes & Noble, Amazon and the MoMA Design Store will be selling the company’s three Circuit Cubes sets. Each kit costs $59.99 and includes wires, “LEGO-style” bricks, wheels, markers, plus the three primary Cubes that offer battery, light and motor features.
