#DLNchat: Supporting Diverse Student Populations

Aug 23, 2017

How can institutions best support diverse student populations in using digital learning tools?

Diversity is an important asset to higher education. Digital learning can create access for more students, but it can also create new types of challenges. As more students with different backgrounds and sets of experiences seek out a college degree, institutions are responding in innovative ways to support student success.

On August 22, EdSurge HigherEd brought together instructional designers, faculty, administrators, and entrepreneurs to discuss how institutions can best support diverse student populations in using digital learning tools. #DLNchat was co-hosted by the Online Learning Consortium, WCET, the New Media Consortium and Tyton Partners.

Mark your calendars for Tuesday, September 12 at 4pm EDT / 1pm PDT, to join our next chat when we'll discuss: Tutoring for Digital Learning. Add it to your Google calendar now.
