LEARNING ACTIVATED: K-8 science curriculum provider Activate Learning has acquired IT’S ABOUT TIME, which offers K-12 and college-level STEM curriculum. According to a press announcement, Activate Learning is “searching for additional acquisitions” in the STEM resources market. Financial details about the deal were not disclosed.
Based in Greenwich, Conn., Activate Learning cites Palm Ventures as its lead investor. Eric Johnson, CEO of Activate Learning, commented on the deal in a prepared statement: “Both of our companies have similar philosophical and pedagogical approaches to STEM education and are leaders in our respective areas.”
