WORKPLACE ANSWERS, an Austin, Texas-based online compliance training company with courses on matters including diversity, harassment and performance management, has been acquired by EverFi. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. This acquisition adds to the ever-expanding portfolio of EverFi, whose offerings cover traditional K-12 subjects (including STEM), higher-ed issues (including financial literacy, alcohol awareness and sexual assault prevention) and corporate training.
In an FAQ on the company blog, Workplace Answers’ CEO Farzad Barkhordari assures existing users will be “no immediate impact” with their courses and accounts in 2017. With the acquisition, EverFi will claim users in more than 1,900 corporations and 1,700 higher-ed campuses.
