Khan Academy Launches Free LSAT Prep

Mar 1, 2017

FREE LSAT PREP: Traditional LSAT study courses and materials can cost hundreds, or in some cases, thousands of dollars. That may not change any time soon, but now, there’s another option to check out. Khan Academy just announced that it will be offering free online LSAT practice materials as part of a new partnership with the Law School Admission Council (creator of the LSAT). The free practice materials will launch on Khan Academy’s website in the second half of 2018.

“We’re delighted to partner with the Law School Admission Council,” Khan Academy founder and CEO Sal Khan said in a prepared statement. “By working directly with the maker of the LSAT, we can help many more students understand the material and level the playing field.”

The LSAT isn’t the first major test that has caught the eye of Khan Academy leaders. The website also has free SAT Practice, made available back in 2015 through a partnership the College Board. Khan Academy claims more than 3 million students have used the website’s SAT Practice since launching the materials.
