ClassWallet Gets Minority Investment to Help Schools Manage Funds

CLASSWALLET, a Hollywood, Fla.-based developer of a tool that helps schools collect, manage and disburse funds, has raised an undisclosed “minority investment” from private equity firm Brentwood Associates. Founded in 2014, ClassWallet claims users in more than 850 schools in districts including Los Angeles Unified. Among the new features in the works is the ability for schools to accept payments from parents digitally, according to the press release.
